It’s a story most business owners and landowners have heard, if not experienced personally. As the workday begins, you discover something occurred on the property during the night when nobody was looking. It could be that an unexpected visitor arrives, or a range fire begins. In some cases, there is minimal damage; in others, losses are substantial. In all cases though, unauthorized property access or unexpected events occur that create risks to business and landowners.
In some cases, you just need to know what is occurring in the normal workday of a farm or ranch. Is the cotton being stripped or baled at the right time?
Without insight into who or what has been impacting your property, it can be a guessing game to try to put the pieces together after the fact.
January 2022
Having two cameras to view this unexpected range fire, allowed us to narrow it down immediately and locate where it was. Thankfully it burned itself out quickly!
December 2021
Having direct views of the cotton fields enabled us to know when stripping began and to track the progress of our crops.

Late at night just outside of the south gate PastureCam cameras clarified what was reeking havoc on the winter crops. A large sounder of feral hogs had been making regular visits to the pasture early in the mornings. Knowing where they regularly roamed, enabled accurate placement of traps to help catch the hoofed culprits.

Early in the morning, vehicle headlights were visible inside the internal gate at 6:00 AM.
Using multiple views from cameras deployed elsewhere on the ranch, PastureCam tracked the intruder’s vehicle as it made its way to different parts of the property. It became clear that the intruder’s movements were typical of someone hunting at night – without the knowledge or permission of the property owner.
In years past, it was not possible to see unauthorized intruders as they made their way onto a property – of the human or animal variety – without having security patrols (at great expense) or photos taken by a game camera (long after the fact).
High-resolution 4K quality video allows for enhanced visualization of events and visitors that would otherwise go undetected; even at night.
With advanced systems like PastureCam, owners have access to view all of the comings and goings on their properties, even the most remote corners of it, in real-time or via remote playback.
